Accountability.Fish advocates for open governance of the world’s oceans by exposing and challenging the secrecy and opaque practices embedded in the current international fisheries management system. They required a website to showcase their work, specifically highlighting the RFMO Accountability Tracker. This tracker is the starting point to holding nations accountable to their citizens and holding RFMOs (Regional fisheries management organisations) accountable.
I’ve developed a custom RFMO Proposals and Decisions listing, where users can select a meeting to see RFMO proposals and decisions.
In a second phase I’ve added multilingual functionality for Spanish and French versions of the site.
